Streets Of Your Town, a two-part, prime-time series for ABC Arts, follows presenter Tim Ross on a tour of our suburbs, asking the question: Modernism to McMansionism – how did we get here? Travelling across Australia and across the globe – to Palm Springs, California, the epicentre of Modernism, and London, where he meets Kevin McLoud, Kathy Lette and Alain de Botton, Tim unpacks how and why Australians abandoned Modernism and embraced McMansionism.
The series will screen on ABC on November 8 and November 15 at 8.30pm.
