Mint Pictures has recently completed production of a promo reel for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in Australia.
The short video includes interviews with Socceroos captain Lucas Neill, SBS broadcaster Lee Lin Chin, MasterChef Adam Liaw, Asian Cup CEO Michael Brown, Tourism Australia CEO Andrew McEvoy, football commentators Michael Cockerill, Mark Bosnich and Simon Hill as well as kids from Football United, a program for refugees.
The 2015 AFC Asian Cup will be the 16th edition of the tournament. The competition will kick off in Melbourne on January 9, 2015 with an opening ceremony and Socceroos match at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium and will culminate in the final at Sydney’s Stadium Australia on January 31, 2015.
The other three competition venues are Brisbane Stadium at Milton, Canberra Stadium in the ACT and Newcastle Stadium in NSW.
“As Glaswegians, we are unapologetic football fanatics, and we love nothing more than working on the sport we love,” said Adam Kay, managing director of Mint Pictures. “We have already made several promotional videos for the Local Organising Committee and hope to work with them in the lead-up to the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, which will be the biggest football event ever held in Australia.”
