The Archibald has been nominated as a finalist in the 2018 Australian Director’s Guild awards.
The four-part series for Foxtel Arts, directed by Dan Goldberg, followed eight artists in their bid to win the most coveted and controversial arts prize in the country: The Archibald.
The other finalists in the best direction of a documentary series are: Alex Barry for The Surgery Ship; Ivan O’Mahoney for The Queen & Zak Grieve; Max Bourke for Man Up; Sally Aitken for David Stratton’s Stories of Australian Cinema.
The winner will be announced at the annual ADG awards in Melbourne on May 4.
