The Bowraville Murders, which traces the epic 30-year battle for justice waged by the families of three murdered Aboriginal kids, has been nominated for two AACTA Awards.
Cinematographer Nathan Barlow and sound recordist Richard Boxhall received nominations for their craft.
Both categories are up against Freeman and When The Camera Stopped Rolling.
The Bowraville Murders premiered on SBS in September and was selected for the 2021 Sydney Film Festival.
The awards will be revealed at the Opera House on December 8, and broadcast on Channel 10.
