The Hunt For The Last Nazis has been shortlisted for an Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) award.
The feature-length documentary investigating how Australia led thousands of Nazis into the country and the last-ditch attempt by the Social Investigations Unit (1987-1992) has been selected in the Best Domestic Affairs Documentary.
It is up against six other films, including from the BBC and Arte.
The winner will be announced at a gala in London on November 20.
Founded in 2005, the AIBs recognise outstanding journalism and factual production across video, audio and digital platforms. This year’s shortlist includes work from more than 70 production companies in 22 countries.
