Bushwhacked! series 3 has been accepted into the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.
The pygmy crocodile episode will be screened at the 33rd edition of the festival, which will be held from October 28-November 6.
The smash hit kids format created by Mint Pictures was selected from over 1000 entries, according to the festival organisers.
The pygmy crocodile episode was shot in a remote part of Australia near the border between the Northern Territory and Western Australia only accessible by chopper – an escarpment that’s home to rare pygmy crocodiles – and Kamil’s challenge to Kayne was to find one to help with scientific research.
Bushwhacked! series 2 won the science award at last year’s Chicago International Children’s Film Festival.
