Ahead of its launch at MIPTV, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific has acquired Mint Pictures’ action-packed adventure series Bushwhacked! (series 2) from the Australian Children’s Television Foundation (ACTF).

With the launch of series 2 at MIP TV, the popular series has proved to be a favourite with several international broadcasters, with sales of series 1 & 2 confirmed to Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific for its Discovery Kids channel and Super RTL (Germany). The series will broadcast to more than 44 countries across Germany, Asia, the Pacific, the Indian subcontinent and Middle East.

Produced by Mint Pictures, in Bushwhacked! series 2, we meet Kayne Tremills’ new co-host, Kamil Ellis. Shot in different locations around Australia, each episode focuses on a mission where Kayne has to track down one of Australia’s most unique or dangerous animals. Crisscrossing Australia in search of adventure and Aboriginal culture, the hosts meet wildlife experts and Indigenous communities who help Kayne achieve his mission.
