Jodi has over 20 years experience working as a producer on a variety of programs for various networks in Australia & in London. Including producing a quiz show for Africa transmitted from London.
Jodi began her career at the Nine Network in Sydney and worked on a range of entertainment and factual programs, before taking a role as senior producer and writer on the long-running series ‘This is Your Life.’
Upon moving to London, Jodi worked as a features writer and reporter for The Evening Standard and others in the Associated Newspapers Group. Still in the UK, Jodi went on to work as news producer and unit manager for the Nine Network’s London bureau before returning to Australia in 2007.
In the past 12 years, Jodi has worked as a senior producer, series producer, executive producer and writer on a range of prime-time factual and entertainment series for Australian free-to-air and subscription networks, including ‘Wheel of Fortune’, ‘The X-Factor’, Australia’s Next Top Model, ‘The Biggest Loser’, ‘Paddock to Plate’ among many others.
In recent years, Jodi has been series producer and executive producer of ‘River Cottage Australia’. From 2017 to 2018, she helmed the first series of ‘War on Waste’ (KEO Films) and it’s second series ‘War on Waste – the Battle Continues’ (Lune Media) for ABC TV. In 2017, Jodi collected the AACTA award for Best Documentary Series for ‘War on Waste’ (KEO Films) and the B&T’s Women in Media Award for “Journalist/Producer of the Year.” In 2018, the first series of ‘War on Waste’ won the Logie for Most Outstanding Factual or Documentary Program. In 2019, Jodi’s factual/comedy series produced for Channel TEN, ‘Taboo’ was nominated for a Logie award.
In 2020, Jodi’s third factual series called ‘Fight for Planet A: Our Climate Challenge’ went to air on the ABC and in 2021, Jodi directed, Osher Gunsberg: A Matter of Life and Death on SBS which won an Asian Academy Award for Best Documentary series.
