The ‘Wildcard’ TV show for Channel Nine is a one-hour documentary following the journey of four junior female surfers that are offered the opportunity of a lifetime to win a wildcard into the Hurley Australian Open of Surfing at Manly in February 2014.
These four lucky teenagers will be picked on merit from the Australian Boardriders Battle hosted on Australian Day weekend from Cronulla Beach.
They will undergo intensive training at Surfing Australia’s Centre of Excellence and by the week’s end one girl will be left standing to claim the ultimate prize.

“The show will feature some iconic Australian surfers who will mentor the girls and we are proud to be a part of this very exciting concept.”
