Mint Pictures post-produced the Nine Network’s 2021 Upfronts, the first of the TV networks to go virtual with next year’s slate of programs due to the coronavirus.
The virtual event, post-produced by Mint MD Adam Kay in conjunction with Rizer Events, aired on September 16 with the network revealing all of the returning series for 2021 together with a handful of new programs.
The innovative show also gave a first public glimpse of Nine’s new integrated newsroom in North Sydney.
Paige Wheaton, Mindshare Sydney’s investment lead, says Nine’s start to Upfronts season was unlike any other.
“Nine’s virtual approach was confident and seamless,” she said. “We’ve all learnt over the past six months to keep virtual meetings timely, and Nine did just that.”
