Seven short clips produced by Mint Pictures/Kid Mac and narrated by award-winning actor Joel Edgerton will be screened on Fuel TV on June 5 at 9pm.
The clips are preview and promotional content for the Red Bull Cape Fear event, a one-day big wave surfing event near Sydney that will draw the biggest names in the surfing world to battle against each other for the inaugural title at this deadly break.
Among the A-list of interviewees are Koby Abberton, Bruce Irons, Shane Dorian, Mark Matthews and Alex Gray. “Pound for pound, Cape Fear is the heaviest and most dangerous wave in the world,” said Mark Matthews, one of the brains behind the project.
The event is in its official waiting period but has not yet been called by Matthews.
