Head of Production

With over 25 years of experience in the television industry, Brooke has established herself as a highly versatile and skilled Head of Production. Over the last eight years, she has been a key player at Fremantle, where she has held roles including Production Executive, Supervising Line Producer and Supervising Production Manager.

Brooke has been instrumental in bringing to life some of Australia’s most beloved television series, including The Great Australian Bake Off, Grand Designs Australia, Restoration Australia, Farmer Wants a Wife, Sydney Opera House, The Matildas and Tony Armstrong’s Extraordinary Things.

Brooke’s career has taken her around the globe, including to the US, where she worked at Leftfield Pictures as an Executive in Charge and Line Producer. Notably, she was involved in developing and Line Producing the first series of the US Alone, among other projects.

Brooke’s career path has included significant stints at Fremantle Australia, Warner Bros., ITV, Endemol and Shine. Brooke’s extensive experience across Australia, the UK, and the USA has seen her contribute to a myriad of successful productions for both public broadcasters and commercial networks.

Biography

Mel started her career in the arts and entertainment industry 18 years ago as an actor and theatre producer.

Having produced numerous successful theatre productions, Mel moved her skills to television.

She has since worked for a range of leading Australian television production companies. Mel has line-produced and production managed lifestyle, comedy, children’s television programs and high-end commercials and music video clips.

In 2012, Mel was employed as General Manager of the global preschool brand Hi-5.

In 2016, Mel was appointed Head Of Production at Fredbird Entertainment.

In 2023, she joined Mint Pictures as Head of Production.
