Nathan has been working as a graphic designer for Mint Pictures since 2024, developing innovative and interactive pitch decks that not only capture the attention of commissioning editors, but get commissioned. To do so he leverages his experience as a Graphic Design Lecturer (ACU), combined with his Master of Film and Digital Image (SCA), Bachelor of Design and Technology (WSU), Bachelor of Design in Architecture (USYD) and Master of Arts Screen in Production Design (AFTRS).
An emerging production designer for film and television, Nathan draws from 20 years of experience as a multidisciplinary designer and producer encompassing advertising, architecture and interiors, exhibition and event design.
He is known for art directing the SBS TV series Meet the Changs (2022) and the follow-up TV series for SBS as a production designer for Meet Leila and Ziad (2023).
In 2022, he also worked as a producer on a philanthropic film commissioned by the University of Technology, Sydney for the National First Nations College.
From 2023 to 2024, he refined his producing skills in the pre-development of a historical drama television series, www.sevenvalleys.tv, whilst undertaking a Master of Arts Screen in Production Design at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School. During this time, he was a production designer on eight short films and was selected to represent AFTRS for the prestigious CILECT prize run by the International Association of Cinema, Audiovisual and Media Schools.
Nathan’s work features in the Design Showcase West online gallery, an initiative by the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television.
