The Bowraville Murders, a feature-length documentary about the 30-year battle for justice over the murders of three Aboriginal kids, has been selected as a finalist for the 2022 Australian International Documentary Awards.
The feature documentary, directed by Allan Clarke and produced by Mint Pictures and Jumping Dog Productions, was released in cinemas last year and aired on SBS as part of its ‘Australia Uncovered’ strand. It also screened at the 2021 Sydney Film Festival.
It is up against three other feature documentaries: I’m Wanita; My Name is Gulpilil and Playing With Sharks.
The winner will be announced during the AIDC conference in Melbourne on March 9.
